CardioFlex Therapy Supports Armchair Anglers!!

Help CardioFlex to support the Armchair Anglers organization. They are a non-profit group who sponsors world-class fishing opportunities for physically-challenged people. Jim Hargaden is the founder of Armchair Anglers, and has been in the Marine and Fishing Industry for over 30 years.

Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) - Annual Fundraiser

CardioFlex Therapy is raising money for the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association), for their annual fundraiser.
I have worked with many of these people in the past 7 years, since I became a Physical Therapist. It is beyond sad to see people who literally can barely
move their legs or arms, if at all. I have already donated $100 for research.

Please help out, and donate ANY amount. It costs $73 for 1 hour of research. I am very hopefully that they will be able to create a cure for this

Cystic Fibrosis Halloween Party

Join CardioFlex Therapy as we continue to support Cystic Fibrosis this Friday October the 29th, at the Halloween Bash III, presented by the Bus Loop Charities and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Taking place on the lawn of the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas, in downtown Fort Lauderdale, this costume party promises to be a blast.

American Cancer Society Relay for Life - Saturday May 1 at 3:00 p.m.

American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life


When: Saturday May 1, 3:00 p.m. through Sunday May 2, 9:00 a.m.
What: Relay for Life is an event celebrating cancer survivorship. It is the nationwide signature event for the American Cancer Society and the single largest non-profit event in the world. Mosaic will organize a team to participate this year in East Boca Raton Relay for Life held at Boca Raton Community High School. During the event, the team will have at least one member walking, running, or otherwise moving under their own power along the track at all times. The event starts on Saturday afternoon and continues thru Sunday morning.

All the teams will pick a theme to decorate their campsites. This year’s Relay theme is "Relay Around The World". Mosaic will have a campsite at the event decorated in our team’s theme of Israel. Also, there will be entertainment, games, music, food and lots of fun. Be ready for an all night party! The Cancer Society will also be honoring cancer survivors and caregivers of all ages in their opening ceremony with a Victory Lap. Even if you are not joining the team, if you are or know of a cancer survivor or caregiver, please join in the opening ceremonies. From turnpike: Take Glades Road exit, head east until you pass over I-95. Turn right at 10th Avenue. The road curves around and becomes NW 15th Street and then curves around to become NW 12th Avenue. Turn right at NW 8th Street and the school is on the right.
Cost: It’s FREE to attend Relay and support our team! However, to be a team member, we request you raise at least $100. Florida Aids Walk - Sunday, March 28

What:

Florida AIDS Walk is a 10k walk (optional 5k) fundraiser to raise awareness and help reverse the continuing epidemic of HIV/AIDS in South Florida. 100% of the funds raised from the Florida AIDS Walk stay right here in Florida and will benefit the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Broward House, the Pride Center at Equality Park, SunServe and the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center. This community fundraising and awareness event helps ensure the expansion of HIV/AIDS testing, education and prevention initiatives in South Florida, and throughout the State of Florida. It will also support:

* GLBT education, advocacy and services,
* specialized services meeting the needs of the economically disadvantaged, marginalized youth, seniors and people’s of differing abilities
* specialized, comprehensive care of children and youth with HIV/AIDS in a family-centered environment
* and improving the lives of individuals living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS.

Humane Society Walk - Saturday, March 6

Come and support the Broward Co. Humane Society, registration at 8:00 am, walk begins at 10:00 am, on Saturday, March the 6th. We'll meet at Huizenga Plaza in downtown Fort Lauderdale, on the corner of E. Las Olas Blvd. and S. Andrews Ave. You can come with a pet, or without. Raise at least $150 and you will start getting "treats" for the walk, like t-shirts, bandana's, etc.....
